Flea Removal - Flea Extermination Weapon, The Flea Fogger Guide

without comments

If you are having a hard time with bad flea infestation, the Flea Fogger could be your answer to killing the unwelcome fleas and achieve flea removal.  This works across the board for all stages of the parasite life cycle. Undoubtedly this is one of the most effective flea extermination methods in the market currently. However, there are a number of key points you need to take note when you use this approach. As in any chemicals, when applied in heavy doses, could cause great harm to health. This applies as well to humans, dogs, cats, birds or even fish for that matter. The flea fogger contains toxic chemicals aimed at killing fleas and other pests and must be used carefully as instructed.

First stop, before you use them, ensure that your pets and children leave the house preferably for a few days. And you need to remove all foods, cover cooking and kitchen utensils, toiletries like toothbrushes and bath towels, spread newspapers to shield from toxic dust. Protect your expensive wax coated furniture as the chemicals could damage the surfaces. Switch off all air conditioning, ventilation, lights, close all windows, shut down your fish tank and cover it on top with newspapers.

Now you are ready for action. Wear a surgical or N95 mask as you will be activating the flea fogger and should not be inhaling the chemicals unnecessarily. Have a covered chair in the center of the room. Stand at the middle of the room, point the canister facing away from you and press or lift tab to release the chemicals. Place the canister on the covered chair, leave the room and close the door shut. You will probably need about two to three hours to ensure that the room is fully fumigated. One canister usually works for a 700 square feet room.

After about two to three hours later, the flea fogger process is completed and you should do exactly the reverse. Open all windows, doors, and switch on your fans if you have a few to fully ventilate the room for about 30 minutes or longer. Whenever possible, clean the floor with a disinfected mop and vacuum the room. Wash all utensils if you feel you need to for added protection against toxic fumes. All these cleaning must be done to remove the last fleas in order that no re-infestation occurs.

One key to note is that when the flea fogger process does not seem to work that well, it is often due to the room being too large and insufficient foggers are used. As mentioned, one flea fogger sufficiently cleans a 700 square fee room. Working well within this proportion would ensure that your flea extermination activity becomes most effective and rid your home from flea infestation.

Remember that for total flea removal to work, you need to also conduct stringent pet flea control simultaneously.
